One of my hobbies/interests is electronic music. I find it very attractive and enticing, perhaps moreso than other genres of music. However, as good as electronic music can be, there are always songs that sound terrible and should never have been released, let alone play 4 times an hour on the radio.
Thus was born the desire to make good electronic music. Every once in a while, I'll hear a song that I think sounds rather terrible and I can make a better job out of a main riff or melody. So far, I admittedly haven't gotten much done, but I have great plans that I've begun setting in motion.
Part of the reason I haven't gotten much done is... I don't know how to. I've played around with FL Studio, but I never really got into it. I don't really know how to translate a sound that I imagine in my head into something tangible that the computer can reproduce.
The first thing I have to do, then, is learn how to use a DAW. The DAW of choice here is FL Studio, since I already have a copy and have somewhat of an idea where things are.
Whenever I have something that I am satisfied with, I'll upload it here for your listening pleasure. .wav files will be available upon request, but not uploaded in order to spare my web host some bandwidth and storage.
